Inside the art-driven vision planned for Johns Creek’s new Medley development

May 19, 2026

Renowned Atlanta muralist and contemporary artist Greg Mike — who has worked on projects for Coca-Coca, Sweetwater Brewery, and Topgolf — has signed on to lead the creative vision for Johns Creek’s newest mixed-use community Medley, opening this fall.

The program led by Mike, the founder of ABV Agency and Gallery, includes a property-wide collection of murals, sculptures and installations that will set the visual tone for the new 43-acre development’s public spaces.

“Public art has always been about creating energy and moments people remember,” Mike said in a statement. “At Medley, we have the opportunity to transform everyday spaces into experiences that feel dynamic, unexpected and deeply connected to the community. The goal is to create artwork that becomes part of the identity of Medley, something people return to, interact with and carry with them long after they leave.”

The art program will feature several commissioned pieces by Mike, as well as works from ABV’s network of nationally- and internationally-recognized artists.

The collection is designed to bring “added energy, creativity and connection to Medley through artist-driven environments woven throughout the destination,” a news release said.

Installations will begin in August, with final touches and select art installations culminating as part of Medley’s Grand Opening on Oct. 29.

Founded by Greg Mike in 2010, ABV Agency & Gallery has become a leading platform for artist-driven murals, immersive installations, experiential campaigns and contemporary art exhibitions. Through a global network of more than 500 artists, ABV has delivered public art and cultural activations for major brands, hospitality destinations and mixed-use projects across the country.

“We’re on a mission to develop Medley as a great ‘Third Place’ for the people of Johns Creek, and public art is essential to that vision,” said Toro Development Company founder and chief vision officer Mark Toro. “With a creative partner like Greg Mike and ABV onboard, we will seamlessly integrate art into Medley’s mixed-use DNA, giving the community even more opportunities to make unique and emotional connections here.”

Toro Development Company defines “Third Places” as “inspired places where people come to feel connected and engaged, something the world needs now more than ever.” Third places also “produce a quantifiable value premium on rents and valuations,” according to a news release.

At the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road, Medley will feature 145,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space, along with 881 luxury residences, a 25,000-square-foot activated plaza, a 150-key boutique hotel, and 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office space.
