As Managing Partner and Chief Development Officer, John leads Toro Development Company’s development platform, overseeing multidisciplinary teams responsible for delivering complex mixed-use and multifamily projects from concept through execution.
He is responsible for aligning capital partners, design teams and public and private stakeholders around a shared development vision, ensuring disciplined execution and long-term value creation across the portfolio.
Prior to joining TDC, he served as Partner and Senior Vice President at North American Properties’ Atlanta office, where he led the firm’s mixed-use platform and played a key role in nationally recognized developments, including Avalon and Colony Square.
John earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech, where he met his wife Mandy, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
